Established in 1996 by founder Phillip Bogdal, EcoPlan continues as an international Land Planning and Landscape Architectural design firm specializing in resort, residential, and commercial developments. Principals Joel Jones and John Harrigan, utilize nearly 50 years of combined environmental master planning, landscape architecture, and site construction experience, to create unique and inventive design solutions. From program definition and computer analysis to conceptual sketches and construction documents, EcoPlan produces the graphic drawings and technical documents needed to transform ideas into reality.
Global Experience
EcoPlan’s portfolio of work spans over 30 countries, including destinations throughout the U.S., Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, Mediterranean Region, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Since 1996, we have been designing everything from luxury hotels in the isolated peninsulas of Costa Rica to upscale resort communities on remote Philippine Islands.
Florida Experience
Since the birth of our practice in 1996, EcoPlan has maintained a strong focus on a portfolio of local projects throughout many of Florida's municipalities. From conceptual site plans to Landscape Architectural design services for the entitlement process, EcoPlan has had the pleasure of being the Landscape Architects of Record for the implementation of dozens of built projects throughout Florida.
Domestic Experience
In addition to our local and international experience, EcoPlan has had the pleasure of providing Master Planning and Landscape Architectural design services for projects elsewhere throughout the United States, including projects in Georgia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Illinois, Texas, Nebraska, Colorado, and Montana.
